Ya, sorry for the picture size... Was posting from the iPad.

Jeff - thanks for your insight. Looks to be the same truck. Pretty interesting conversion, but a pretty high sticker price in my opinion. The seller wants 9k

Like he said engine is known in all circles to be a complete pos. A bunch of unknowing individuals on expedition portal were drooling over these gm/detroit 6.2 conversions into this disco and a classic and a p38. I have owned some awesome large detroit diesels. The early (pre 1986) 6.2 engines are not even considered rebuildable.

Glad you said it…the diesel guy's next door to the shop agree that its a turd. I couldn't figure out with all the write up's about it how bad it is that they fell in love it

That kid had all sorts of problems with this truck. Somewhere there's a thread when he was broken down in Alamosa, CO for a few days.

Yeah, the fan went thru the radiator or something along those lines. That truck was in Seirra Vista (I think) for a while, never got a chance to see it because it wasn't running…He moved north to your neck of the woods

Nothing is better at turning fuel into heat and noise without any appreciable horsepower than the 6.2 and 6.5s with the possible exception of a space heater.
