I've been wondering why that car hasn't sold yet on eBay. The PO of my truck wants a black 90 again but as a 1997, and in the $20k's that truck seems like a steal since it's just a NAS truck that's done the reverse commute up to Canada a few years ago - you'd assume no issues bringing it back into the US. Good luck!

Dude on that ebay ad doesn't answer messages, and seems to insist on not wanting to deal with importing to the US. Odd.

I assumed Ron had seen the AutoCheck while it was listed on eBay (or you can hit price research on eBay to pull up the listing) and was asking specifically for a CarFax.

the seller said it was sold but buyer could not import back into the us. that sounded strange so i reached out to my import expert (doug) and he said there should be no issues . didnt get a straight answer as to why it couldnt be imported by the seller..

Absolutely no reason there should be a problem. Bet the dude was trying to get out of his obligation to buy and made that up. As we discussed over the phone I've had no issues bringing in Canadian trucks.

So you sell a white 97 and immediately want to turn around and get a black one ? Damn dude let's import you something (more interesting than a color change) again.

Plus this is a US truck that just went over the border. There should REALLY be no issues getting it back. Buyers make up crazy excuses sometimes.
