Drunk dude who was harassing all of us was just booted off the train in Wilmington and hauled off by police. This is turning out to be an interesting trip.

Just now leaving Philly. The train doors are apparently frozen shut, so letting passengers off has been an issue...

Yeah, dudes in yellow and black are the police, and the dude in the fedora is the jackass.

Yup. We rolled into Penn Station around 10:30 last night. Large dude was in front of us inside and had to SLAM into the door to break the ice seal so that the door would open. Further up on the train, a door had been frozen open, and there were drifts of snow a foot high inside the train vestibule. I wish I'd have taken a photo of it, but I was concentrating on not falling, since all I brought with me down to Savannah were nice dress shoes and boat shoes.

Came home to this from the dog.

Now we need to figure out if we can at least get a voucher for a future flight or something from United. They had rescheduled us for another flight out of DC this morning, which would lay over in Ohio, then on to LaGuardia. Needless to say, that flight was also cancelled last night. Maybe they'll see the value in that we're one less group they need to get to their destination. Not banking on it, but going to at least try.
