Anyone able to look up VIN to see if GDE is authentic

I found a Range Rover Great Divide Edition that's missing the door medallion / badge. Is anyone know of a VIN sequence I can look up to ensure its an authentic GDE?

Here's a VIN decoder... it helped me figure out one of mine is a 40th Anniversary Edition. I think all the GDEs have an MA in the VIN I also read the 'NAS parts manual lists all the VIN #s'

Thanks for the above replies. Perforated seats and lower big gas door are there. GDE Front bumper and tailgate sticker and correct wood. And the residue from the medallion. And the "MA" is in the VIN. Got to believe it's a real one.

The decoder said trim was base, county, great divide. Not sure if it's
Listed those as "or"

10th digit M means it's a 1991.

Everything checks out. So how much you guys think it devalues/detracts from not having the badge. Don't know why I get hung up on stupid crap like that but it just bugs me. More so it bugs me that I wonder how the heck it came off and why they didn't put it back on.

It's not stupid... if it were mine I'd find out what # it is and have the badge remade..

These threads have become a zoo.

Is this the GDE in GA? Before you get hung up on a badge, I'd ensure the rust areas and drive train check out. I'd forge a badge from dog shit in lieu of dealing with serious RRC issues.

Yes, same one. It was someone's project that never was completed. Drives and shifts ok. Some seepage from the rear diff. Hard to know what really lies underneath as the guy selling is just flipping it, so he doesn't really know the history. 200k miles. Missing fan shroud and acc belt. Mismatched tires. Missing badge. Missing sunroof interior frame. All fine indepedent of one another but also could be a bad sign of its care. But again, probably in the middle of a resto and either tired of it or something worse and realized it wasn't worth continuing.

Yeah...I remember the RRC you bought. Sorry all that happened. Did the new owner ever get it sorted?
