And isn't that sad. Guns and hunting is considered minority thought nowadays.

These aren't your traditional white symbol of peace, love and harmony dove
They're more like their scrawny, grey, skiddish cousin that grew up on the bad side of the tracks!
Lots of fun to shoot and eat...especially if you're lucky enough to have a 4 legged buddy help pick them up!

there is a hunt club about a half mile from me that planted multiple grains and bushogged them the week before labor day. The result has been thousands of doves and an incredible amount of gunfire. The guys cant reload fast enough

Thanks, I hope so. I took him Antelope hunting with me when he was four and we never hunted alone after that.

Good luck with the Mulies!! Hopefully we won't be seeing any snow up here until late October - that'll help w/the Ptarmigen a LOT...but I especially hope it holds off since we're heading to Kentucky to drive a new Raptor up duing the 2nd week in Oct and hope we're not doing it in the snow!! I do love a good road-trip...even if it isn't in a LR!!

I did a brown bear trip a few years back and after tagging a bear, I did some Ptarmigan hunting north of Anchorage and then droppped down and got some silvers in Soldotna...
