Any Wisconsin Defender owners on this site?

Hi - Curious if there are any other Defender owners/fanatics on this site that reside in WI?

I haven't come across any profiles on the site that indicate WI, but I'm thinking there must be at least a few of us on here.

If you're a Wisco resident let me know. I'll be curious to find out if you do any meet-ups, or combine with the Chicago club at any point throughout the year.

Thanks. Take care!

Not a Defender owner but I'm about 10 minutes south of WI. Where abouts in WI are you?

Every couple years I make it up to the Fond Du Lac county fair or walleye weekend . Good luck and welcome to the board.

fishEH - I'm in Northeast WI, close to Appleton

Ray_G - Enjoy WI for the holiday. Great place to be for the 4th. Would you mind shooting me the guy's info. from Oshkosh? If he's in Oshkosh he's only about 10 minutes from where I live.

If you're on Facebook look up Scott Atwater and Adam Schaffer(sp?). Both from Appleton and Rover owners.

All,
I hate to re-direct this thread but anyone know of a reliable Land Rover technician in Wisconsin - who knows Classic Range Rovers? I have a friend living in Two Rivers for the Summer and needs some mechanical assistance on his vehicle.

Hey, that's me! Yes, I need a transfer case swapped out in my 1991 Range Rover Classic. My RRC is from the Southwest, New Mexico/Arizona so no rust on it to deal with. Would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get it done on Friday July 3rd, 4th or 5th. I pick up the replacement transfer case tomorrow morning in Chicago.

Go to http://www.chadmanz.com/rrmods2.html for the details of my 1991 RRC Hunter.

There is a guy in Madison that I understand will make house calls...however, it's quite a trip from Madison to Two Rivers. Nonetheless, if he can't/won't do it maybe he can point you to someone else.

His name is Clint (last name Paul?). # is (608) 622-9975. I've not used him yet, but I have a buddy that speaks highly of him. I believe he is a certified LR Master Tech.

Hope that helps, and good luck!

I've met him a couple years ago, seemed like a good guy. At the time he had a shop called Mad City Rovers. Never used his shop, though. There used to be a website but now I'm not seeing it.

Where in Wisconsin are you?

If you are on the west side, I would definitely recommend the twin cities folks - there are a few. Chicago would be a long drive if you were anywhere west of Madison.
