I second Bob Ridley for vintage Rolex and Jack Alexyon (International Watch Works) in Cary NC for everything else.

I buy and sell thru WatchUSeek (I Mod the Sinn Forum and Sales Corner over there) and have purchased thru Chrono24. The only Sinn AD in the US is WatchBuys (internet only) also in Cary NC and Louis Black in Toronto.

It depends, what do you prefer?

Mechanical or Quartz movement?
Pilot, dive or dress style?
Chronograph or just time and date functions?
Big (44mm) or small (40mm) case size?
PVD black, Tegimented steel, matte steel, Submarine steel, or Titanium case material?
Bezel or no bezel?
Bracelet, leather strap, or rubber strap?
Acrylic or sapphire crystal?

My personal favorite is the EZM1, but they've been discontinued since 2005.

Auto, Titanium, and I prefer a larger watch. I was looking for either a rubber or leather strap. I don't know much about the Sinn watches but recall reading about them here and then when I was in the watch shop they had them. I almost pulled the trigger but figured I would wait. By the way watches are very pricey in OZ as is everything else.

I have about 100 watches. I prefer automatic movements with arabic numbers from the 60's and 70's, but I wouldn't mind another Rolex or an Olympic Omega. But I haven't purchased a watch since I've had my Defender and have been getting it ready to go off-road and travel to Argentina.

I would suggest Timezone's sales corner as a place to sell watches: http://forums.timezone.com/index.php...eadt&frm_id=32

The newest from the "mission timer" series is the EZM10. It's a little pricey but it is the first watch released with Sinns in-house movement, the SZ01 chronograph. It boasts a hardened "Tegimented" Titanium case, another first for Sinn.

The 103 series has Titanium cased chronographs and are around 40mm. The cases are the same used on the legendary (and now discontinued) EZM1.

If you can deal with the weight and Lego hands, the U1 (in Submarine steel) is the quintessential modern Sinn. If the hands are too over the top, the U2 (with sword hands) is the way to go.

I've heard the Australian Sinn AD (Peter Petzold at Define Jewelers) is very overpriced. You may want to find a gently pre-loved Sinn off of one of the boards. You'll have to pay Customs to get it into Oz, but the savings will make it worth it IMHO.

Good luck! You won't regret getting any watch Sinn makes.

I have a GMT II pepsi bezel ... but its not for sale ... just got a new Explorer II with a white face which is really nice ... although it does seem to be a bit partial to scratches ...

I kinda like the new Explorer II, but all the new watches are just too "loud"

Owned a new gmt 2 for a bit but eventually sold it. It was the only new watch that wasn't enlarged.
The deep sea dweller is an abomination. The new explorer 2 face is nice but the fact that they enlarged the head and left the band the same size seems retarded.

No the new gmt 2 with ceramic is the same size as the old one. The explorer, and sub went up in size.

Actually I take it back. I think they increased the band 2mm on the explorer so it is all proportional. The sub is still 40mm like the gmt. Still seems odd to make the explorer bigger.

I have a good source for Panerai and Rolex. Send me the model number that you want and I will see if he has it. I bought a 212 from him, perfect condition with box and papers.
