The connected is impossible to find at a discount.
They only shipped them to 9 dealers on the entire West Coast.

They aren't shipping to Europe until spring...

I have several clients waiting for them at a premium and I still can't get them.

Wait till spring and they will be around quite a bit more but discounts will be minimal due to the trade in program Tag is offering on them two years down the line.

Good luck with that. They're the equivalent to a stainless steel Daytona for the Me Generation.

Unfortunately they'll be few, far between, and at a premium when you do find them for the foreseeable future.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves comparing this to a daytona. It retails for 1500. I was offered one for 1750 and didn't move fast enough. Really with tax considered it was a pretty low premium. I can't see paying much more than that for a glorified iwatch.

Tags are garbage, but it's christmas and the wife wants what she wants. What kind of a Jew would I be not to indulge her.

I ordered it so should have it early in the week. I'm sure it will be heinous but at least I can just sell it on ebay.

I honestly don't like any watch over 40mm.

Vintage Rolex sport models is where it's at.

Actually I'm one of those people that needs all the links that come in a Rolex bracelet. I've been told my hands are freakishly large (Mickey mouse hands). I just don't over compensate.

42, 44, 46, I might as well strap a beadlock to my wrist.

Now that's pure class. You can't go wrong with a Moon Watch!

I have one with the 1863 movement, display back, and Hesalite crystal. Mine's on a leather Bund.

Have you posted a pic of that one?

Not yet...here's the backside with a little buddy:

A little closer after a recent service (the big difference between the 1861 and 1863 is the wave decoration, gilt engraving, and metal (vs Delrin nylon) chrono brake:

In comparison here's a relativly undecorated Daytona 4130 movement under a custom display caseback:

Here's my Three Amigos:

Damn, the HYT watches are cool, sadly I don't have $100k to drop on a watch.

I got "play" with the HYT at BaselWorld earlier this year.

Here's their very cool Skull Green Eye:

My personal favorite was the Ressance Type 3. It looks like a smartwatch but it's 100% mechanical. Here's a video from a friend at aBlogtoWatch:

And a pic from my visit to their booth:
