Going through some boxes I found all my old watches from high school. Nothing expensive, but it was interesting to see what my tastes were 25 years ago.

I actually bought the Russian paratrooper watch at the Berlin Wall in 1992.

The Game Time watch kept me busy during those boring classes.

Lots of beautiful time pieces in this thread. I don’t have the budget for collecting Rolex, Breitling, Omega, etc, etc. but can appreciate a quality time piece. I currently have a nice Victorinox Maverick that my wife gave me. Other than rather short battery life, I like it very much. But I am surprised not to see ANY that are Land Rover Logo’d though? I assume that means there are no Quality Time pieces out there that were issued as Land Rover Specials? Here are some photos of Land Rover logo’d watches I’ve seen over the years. No idea how to find or purchase any of them, the quality of any of them (well accept the Breitling of course).

Are there any quality Land Rover Logo’d watches out there that don’t break the bank? If so love to know more about them..

At MAR 2005, the club(ROAV) auctioned off the official Camel Trophy watch worn by Bill Burke.

It was bought by Steve Young( who had just started at D.A.P. at the time).

It was not expensive.

I posted a pic of one of my CT watch a few pages back, they can be found on fleabay though it does pay to research as I don't think they are of equal quality universally. I'm not a watch person by any means, but I am a fan of the unique CT ones just for their history.

I bought quite a few in Berlin right after The Wall came down in 1989. I still have one of the Vostock Sub Commander watches, but it stopped working soon after purchase and the electric blue dial has faded to silver...pure junk.

Anyone get a tag heuer connected watch? My wife wants it as a toy. I can't find it anywhere for near list price. I can't see paying a huge premium for something that will be outdated in a week.

Want one. Did you try the Tag Heuer Stores (like the one in Vegas?

Good news is the earth comes with an upgrade path.
