Nice Doxa! You don't see those every day.

I currently have 7 with one of Fabien Cousteau's personal watches from the Mission 31 Project on its way to me. Fabien Cousteau's Mission 31

Google Buzz Aldrin.

He's been wearing 2 watches since the moon landings.

Of course, you're no astronaut so I dont know if you can pull it off...

Just got back from the Apple store and I love the Watch. Extremely well made. Comes in a 38MM or a 42MM. Lot's of straps and bracelet options. My only wish is that it came in a 47MM. 42 still looks a little small for my wrist

Did you check out the stainless bracelet? Is it worth the premium over the Milanese strap ?

Anyone have a good recommendation for online appraisal? Considering unloading one since I rarely wear it.

There's no such thing as a reliable online appraisal. Go talk to Felix Zaltsberg at the Highlands Ranch location of Right Time. He's a Master Watchmaker and a really nice guy.

As a guy in tech (Apple is our biggest client), I'm going to wait for gen 2 or 3.. I'm wondering about the HW and its longevity when compared to the software advances...
Anyway my Daytona will not go longing for love..
As an investor in aapl I like seeing this crowd jump on it!!

While I may be adding an Apple Watch in the future (I'm guessing it'll be handy for business), I just picked up this beauty at auction. I love Panerai's, and this auto Chronograph will fit nicely next to my manual PAM 111.

Jason, I hear you....I haven't bought a quartz watch since I bought my first automatic movement in 1995. However, I spend a lot of time in meetings....and while it would be rude to look at my phone, I could sneak glances at my watch to stay on top of messages, calendar reminders, and maybe email headlines. (All while my phone sits on its charger in my office) Same concept applies to traveling, but with hands free convenience!

I hear you ... I think the answer for people who like a real watch is a smart strap ... There are a few options starting to emerge and I could see the watch makers getting onboard with that idea. Mixing traditional watches with hi-tech straps ... That way I can keep my explorer and have smart functionality. Also when I want to upgrade I don't have to replace my sentimental connection to my watch.

In-house, automatic? Sign me up. Along those lines, I'm debating a Swatch Sistem 51. Crap materials, but innovative as all get-out.
