I'm not much of a flipper, but the best return I've gotten was on ten unissued Stockard & Yale (SandY) 650's I found at a surplus store in Fayetteville NC. When all was said and done I got 8X what I paid for them.

Cool to see some TRF and WUS people here. I didn't know there was an overlap, but I shouldn't be surprised.

I have a Victorinox Dive Master 500 LE (ref 241175, the original LE). It was my first mechanical watch and a keeper. Yes I take it diving. I also have a Rolex 50th anniversary Submariner 16610 LV that turned out to be more photogenic than I anticipated. I'll probably trade it in for a Rolex Explorer II (216570 polar), and eventually would like to have a Jaeger Lecoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon 39 as a dress watch and an Omega Grey Side of the Moon to round out my rotation.

The goal is to have watches match vehicles: Polar/diver for a D90, GSOTM/JLC for a 993 4S. Some day the cars and watches will happen. I'm not hugely into material things except discontinued cars and new watches.

I've been in a watch funk lately. I think I've lost interest in them completely. In fact, I've been contemplating selling them off to fund my recent pinball addiction.

I just pulled the trigger on a new one. Resco Instruments. Make some pretty cool watches and are run by a former Seal.

Just got my MKII Paradive back from International Watch Works being DLC'd. It's now running on stealth mode Thanks Bo for the recommendation. Jack does great work.

Josh, I love the DLC treatment. I've been thinking about doing that to my Panerai. Very nice! Is that a one piece nato strap?

You should link up with Jack at IWW. His work is second to none.

This is a basic NATO I had kicking around. I'll order up a Premium NATO from Crown and Buckle today- they are the best IMO. May snag a OD Green with black hardware too, I think that could be a good look.

No. Not buying anything. Apple watch will change everything. Doesn't mean I'm buying one.

That's an apples and oranges comparison. The Iwatch is so much more than a calculator watch.....

and... If it isn't now, it will be.

The other bottom line with the watch market is there are too many luxury brands. The marketplace is severely diluted. It' time for a new player.

Apple knows what they're doing. They're not going to release something that sucks.

You don't get that "jumped the shark" feeling when you see how many brands there are nowadays offering watches that cost thousands and thousands of $$ that all do the exact same thing which is basically nothing?
