My two favorites are from my dad. The Navitimer he gave me when I got married 15 years ago, the his Explorer he gave me before he passed away a couple years ago. He always told me good watches tell great stories.

Picked up a Tudor Pelegas a couple of months ago. Giving my Pepsi GMT II a rest that I have wore for the last 13 years...

I have a watch box full of watches but wear none of them anymore. Cell serves that function these days.
Oddly, this trend of people using their cellphones to check the time is a throwback to the days of pocket watches where one had to (1) reach into their pocket (2) pull out timepiece (3) and finally get the time, instead of just holding up a wrist.

I like it! Have considered picking one up as a sister to mine, instead of getting a Rolex Daytona Cosmograph.

There is also a model with a carbon-fibre looking face. But that is too similar to my Seiko Sportura to justify buying one.

My watch of the day

My beast of a watch. I wear this almost every day. Takes a beating to the max the bezel has many war wounds. It even had a piece of weld splatter on it a few years ago. When I took it for a cleanup they were able to clean it up and polish it out.

I had to lay my Harley fatboy down @ approx 50mph about 8 yrs ago. The bezel, and sapphire crystal of my Seamaster were scratched up from me sliding down the road. Sent it to the Omega repair folks in NJ. Came back like new, and re-certified. Tough watches.

This is my astronaut watch.
I dont think the NASA boys wear this kind anymore due to budget cuts...
If it doesnt show up, the rocket is actually a second hand!

This is my daily watch when not in the field.

Breitling 9/11 limited edition made and offered first to those of us who worked the pile in Manhattan after that horrible day. Mine is 4/250. Hand painted flag on the face which is really special.

Do you know if they sent it to Bienne, or did they do the work in NJ?
My old Speedmaster needs a new main spring.

I'm going to use that in my signature on WatchUSeek (I'm a MaL over there). I'm wearing the two register on the right today.
