What do you consider 'deep sea'? I spent 2 weeks in the Andaman last month and it did its job just fine...

LMAO

In my days of " Non Smoker and Youth " I 've often went to 5-6 ATM wearing my SUB, better yet I have couple of times done Surface Supplied ( had to try it ) and still wore my SUB, " I though I was Maurice Fargues " *LOL* , and now I ofte see all the dipsticks wearing SD and don't even know how to swim

I have a pretty solid amount of bottom time on my 45 year old GMT and it still keeps shitty time. Thank god for dive computers.

I'm pretty new to the whole watch thing. I started a small collection with a gshock, citizen and my first Swiss watch was a tag formula. I've always wanted a stainless submariner and bought one used from a guy and I love it. I'm really into timeless designs and you can hate on submariners all you want, but the design will be around forever. It kind of bugs me though because I'm pretty young and still in school so people either think daddy bought it for me or its a fake. On the other hand I get bummed out when I have something that I worked hard for, and then some 18 year old kid shows up wearing his dads old one or its was a high-school graduation present.

I'm really into the orange strap right now so I can show some SU pride.

Agreed I love the classic designs but also like the new explorer as an update on the original ...

I bought a NOS breitling from the early 70's ... When I was born ... It's a nice thing to have and wasn't expensive.

Bump to an old thread... anything new lately?

My wife just bought me a new Omega Seamaster >15000 gauss for our anniversary. Really slick movement made from non-magnetic components. Especially cool to me since I work with high-field superconducting magnets (similar to MRI) and have been apprehensive about destroying my daily Tag.

I have a few vintage mechanicals I get into the rotation…

But usually wear either a Sinn EZM1 (this is one of 22 issued to German customs enforcement agents)…

Or this Daytona Cosmograph…

I wear a TH Carrera;

I used to wear this, but haven't much since I picked up the TH.

Would love a Rolex Daytona Cosmograph. Then I think of all the stuff I could do to my Ninety with that much cash...

I bought what I think was one of the last new suunto ventus watches available. It's my daily, sapphire glass, race timer, barometric graph and heading.

I have a few cool old watches that I almost never wear. Both were my father's watches and he's had them since new.

Here's a pre-moon (1966 or 67) Omega Speedmaster:

Here is another neat one. Omega Seamaster DeVille:

My dad still daily wears his Seamaster he got when he graduated from college. He's 81.
I have a watch box full of watches but wear none of them anymore. Cell serves that function these days.
