Attorney in the family, just after reading the initial post... stated your attorney should not be charging you to fix a mistake or to drum up a receipt. Just pay him the agreed upon hourly rate minus the unnecessary charges and it's VERY important that you put in the memo area of the check "Paid in full" or what evilfij stated. When he goes to deposit the check, your attorney is agreeing that you aren't liable for anything more. Sounds like you've gotten yourself a crappy attorney thats reinforcing the negative stereotypes about them.
