Any Jag owners?

Now that my favorite dealers sell jags (and will sell me parts at fair prices), I am thinking about picking up an old XJR (95-97 or maybe a cheap 98) to kick around in until my D90 sells and I can get a morgan. Anyone own one?

I have a 99 supercharged vanden plas. I would stay away from the 95-97 xkr's they had the v6. Some dealership in Texas has cheap ones. www.texascarsdirect.com

why don't you like the straight six?

There is a 98 with 130k near me and a 97 with 77k in pittsburg. both blk/blk both I can get for around 6k.

I have heard they have lots of problems with the supercharged 6s. 55 less horsepower. 130k is a lot of miles.

I drive like 60 miles a day so miles is not a big issue to me as I am used to shucking out money for new parts.

Thanks for the input.

I think I am going to make an offer on the 97. That way when the body rusts out of it I can put the motor in an XK120 :-)
