any ideas on how many NAS 90's left??

Happy New Year! Board-

Since I'm now (kinda) back in the circle and after spending months chasing down an unmolested NAS 95/97 Wagon, I have a few observations:

1. Very few unmolested (relatively speaking) NAS D90's are left.

2. Very few non rust-bucket NAS D90's are left

I think this is borne out by the fact we are seeing an uptick in Jap and Saudi spec 90's on the normal sale sites, i.e. CL, AT, Ebay, etc.

I had my secretary run a spreadsheet-based on the info from lrfaq.org and was pleased to find there were only 188 '95 Coniston Green Station Wagons produced.

So, my somewhat selfish question is....is there a way, perhaps actuarially, to guestimate the number of any given color of NAS 90 left? I ask this for two reasons;

1. I want my club more exclusive.. and..

2. God forbid any of us total one in an accident, it would certainly be a factor in determining "value" from an Insurance industry perspective...

Just some pondering for the New Year...

KCD

1995 SW Alpine white - not a rust bucket , thank you!

Would also be good to account for the total remaining SW's vs the ST.

Contact user Wayne on here. He buys a ton of the salvaged NAS trucks that come up for sale. You'd be able to figure out roughly how many have been lost annually.

Hard tops rare to start with. Sought after.
Think POE 94's remain the rarest as a group. There were also a tiny number of non Portafino Red Wagons.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

Half a dozen to a dozen annually. A few more than usual this past year due to Sandy. Oddly, not that many '95's come across the block. Mostly '94's and '97's.

Yeah, this past year especially was rather active for salvages. There were at least 3-4 NAS 110s in 2013, too.
