I have a Caterham (mostly) with a 1600 crossflow. It hasn't ran since I got back from Kosovo in 2012/ 2013 ish.

I also didn't build it. I did however import it from the Netherlands on the 25 year rule.

VERY COOL. What's it got for a motor? Part of the appeal to me was building it. Don't know anything about me but they look very cool.

LOL Josh, I was actually looking into building one this morning. I need to check with the AZ DMV to be sure I can license it before I do anything. Were you watching Top Gear this morning when they were building one while the Stig when tear assign thru the island?

Are you allowed to import the new ones from the Canadian builder?

No idea but building it yourself would be most of the fun.

I think building it would be cool. I'd start with a more modern engine like a Eco boost 4 maybe and IRS. I'm just glad this thing doesn't take up much he garage space.

I actually caught them building them on "how it's made". Seems to be the only show my little guy can agree on these days lol. As soon as I heard they can ship you an entire kit I thought it was worth checking out.

I was thinking they would be a lot of fun for the track days here but mostly really cool to build.

They aren't shipped with a dtivetrain. You either have to DIY that or have a reccomended shop do it. Leads me to believe it falls under kit car regs.

I saw this Seven at a local British car show.

I had this shell for a while, sold it to another Defender guy after deciding to build my own. This one had a Ford setup: 4.0L inline 6, T5 trans, back to a 9" solid axle.

There are multiple blueprints to build them yourselves on Building a Sevenesque Roadster - -
When I get around to building one, it will be a turbocharged 4G64 engine, T56 trans, and IRS.
