I always love seeing a Defender on a random road, with no other vehicles by it. There is something beautiful about the randomness

I love spotting defenders; unfortunately, I never seem to be in mine when I do see others.

The funny thing is when you are starring at them like "I have one too" and they think you are some nut job hopped up on something.

But, it has never happened to me.

I usually think they are just wishing they had one.

On a side note, I work for Bank of America, and just moved to a different team that is based in Boston, so I have to travel up there once a quarter. Office is on fed street in downtown. I was up there on my first trip Dec 14th when it snowed, and I spent the evening in the cigar bar below the Millenium hotel. I'm thinking maybe on my next trip, maybe those of you in town can join me for a cigar. (come in something muddy and oval).

I'm off this friday to Fort Knox for 2 weeks of military school, and I have to plan my next trip after I get back late feb-early march.

I'm at college in Boston right now, born and raised in Los Altos. Returning to Los Altos after graduation (in 77 days... assuming I don't f*ck it up).

Follow-up Post:

not that i'm counting down the days or anything

If you made it through sophomore year, this will pass, too. Just don't let it pass too quickly.

i dropped out after sophomore year.

after spending a year bumming around the beaches of California in the D90, I realized that I had nothing better to do, so I might as well suck it up and go back to school. Most people go on and on about how i'll miss it when I graduate. I already left once, and it was the greatest feeling in the world. I'm so excited to leave again, I can barely contain myself.

I just regret wasting all this time and money getting a degree in business and music. I should have put all this effort towards getting ASE certified. My parents own a building up in Portland, OR that has a 1200 square foot warehouse that they might let me use after I graduate to rebuild either an 88" or a D110 (depends how much money I want to sink into this... i'm still thinking it out). Depending how that goes, and how much I dig it, I might still just go back and get ASE certified.

sorry for hijacking. then ranting.

That one looks familiar to me and I'm pretty sure I've seen it before. It could possibly be the same one that's parked daily at the Design Center down in the Seaport District. That guy has snubbed me a few times now. My built up Disco II ain't cool enough I guess

Sighting

Just passed a white D90 on the street in Denver. It had a boot on the front wheel. Hope it's no one on here.
