It was always a question I brought up with the rental company and in Harrisonburg, VA we never had a problem adding that to the lease.
And as far as brandish weapon, that never happened. Where I grew up there was no such thing as showing someone a gun. You only let them see it if you plan on shooting. Luckily, never had to get one out until I was hunting.

UGGGG!!! Chris I feel for ya. A few nights ago they hit here!!! No top, no doors, the tuffy was unlocked and the CB was under the dash,,, what did they take, the mechanical oil pressure sensor!!!! They ripped it off the dash!! The next morning I start the truck and oil starts pouring out if the tiny 1/8" hose! of all the junk they could have taken all they took was that.

Guess they had a need for an oil sensor for a rover???
