America's Most Expensive Trucks

How come ECR did not make it on this article. Wonder if Mike was ever approached for it. See below for link.

Completely different businesses. ICON's active sales and marketing-driven business, vs. ECR's model which is bespoke...they're supplied a Defender (usually already titled to that customer) for rehabilitation, customization, etc.

I don't recall ever seeing a MSRP on Mike's trucks.

ICON are considered to be "New" whereas pricing "restorations" is always open-ended, something I'm discovering first hand all too well.

They do market well. The owner of the business and I share a doctor. My doc said a bunch of years ago that they were talking about how he hated his job and wanted to get in land cruisers. Seems to have worked out for him. I have been planning to go over there and drool one weekend

Never approached. Thank goodness.

We fly under the radar. We have a web site and that is it.

TLC does tons of promotion so that they can sell trucks and looks for every marketing tool they can find.

Good for them, just a different way of doing things.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

I'd rather have an Icon FJ45....so I could sell it and buy 2 Defender 110's.
