Yeah. He's an aviation mechanic by trade and under my employ for 12 years now. I think he can handle a Rover, and a light bulb.

I guess throwing out a JC Whitney reference about, say, double tube bumpers, would be too obvious.

Does anyone else thinks he looks like Jimmy Kimmel? Like his evil twin brother.

I get that all the time! As a matter of fact when my wife was driving me around in the Defender through Burlington a babe gave me the look and asked for an autograph. She looked perplexed when I gave her the Ol' Rich Manitoba Dave Hancock! Sucker! Celebrity can have it's perks. But I digress.

Whatever it is, triple plate chrome.

ETA: check out Bellagio Land Rover. A real board favorite. Pick up a lot of internet cred, if you know what I mean.

I guess but he's not mocking anyone or defending anyone. It just seems like a dumb thread that is going nowhere.

Just a new Rover Defender owner wanting some advice. I'm not a threat; don't take it personally. I know you know more about em' than I do.

I don't take it personally or care really. I just don't get why you are bothering with a fake account.

When you post you care. I care. Of course laughs are great, and I don't mind if they're at my expense. On a productive note what motor mounts would you recommend for a 302 in the Defender?

Savant to the end. Can you just find out his ISP so we can mock the person. It can't be that hard.

Was wondering the same thing - definitely seems like someone from VA. Quick, put up a thread on suggestion(s) for recovery points using all stainless steel or something.
