Alexandria, VA Defender

Anyone in the Alexandria area willing/able to take a look at a truck for me? Not many trucks available near me so I've had to expand my search.

Here's the listing if you were wondering.

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...099548638.html

Thanks.

We were actually talking about this truck at HH last night! I may be willing to look at it but was planning to try to get the RTT from that guy so I may have to fight you for that part of the sale!

Awesome.

The tent is pretty neat, but I'm not sure my four bulldogs would enjoy sleeping eight feet in the air.

sort of scratch my head when the seller wrote more about a $50 hi-lift jack than the $17,500 truck.

It does look like a good deal

Me too. Picture quality is poor too, so best go look and take pictures.

Pedro, if you scout it out and are seriously interested, I'll go look and give you my opinion if you want.

She never called back and I don't think she will...

Seems that someone will get a nice truck, that's for sure.

I was second in line. Someone looked at this morning and had it checked out by a local LR mechanic. Whoever it was left a deposit check. Anyone here?

It was me.

I guess tony is now considered a LR mechanic! Thanks to tony for taking a look at iit and charles for giving good insight last nght on what to look for.

The wife did the ad on craigslist and I guess she chose to focus on the tent and hilift. It has almost no rust anywhere. Pretty much none, maybe a speck of it on a bolt. Mechanically its perfect. Borla exhaust. Tops are ok condition at best. Roof rack and tent like new. Original Interior seats and center console are pretty rough. Frame is perfect. Runs great.
