I'm in the same boat. I like very little reality TV, but what I do like are things such as the real Camel Trophy programs. Those were fantastic, for the reasons you mention. I've got many of them on DVD and they are watched often.

After sitting through two episides of this program I'm going to be taking a pass on the rest. Nothing at all against those that participated, this is just a program format I don't really enjoy..

Just watching the first two episodes on PVR with the wife.... All she's said is the guy with the mullet is a woman & they need to come to BC as that's just a Sunday drive in the bush !
