It's a shame that they couldn't come up with a better ending. Feels like they ran out of time and money.

That would be cool , I think Oil Worker will be up this summer for some exploring.

We are converting it to R-380, adding 4 more degrees of castor . He wants it to drive like my 110 so we are going to tweak it a bit to get her dialed in . Probably revolve the shocks add some compression dampening to the rear for sure .

Well, that's a wrap. Nice job Jason and Ed. The show was interesting, some parts good, some parts not so good, but I bet the experience was awesome Not every day that you get to participate in the production in a television about four-wheeling, and certainly not one with a Defender and Series truck!

I hope there are more shows about four-wheeling in the future so that the concept can be refined. I think there's a lot of potential out there for a good show, it's just a matter of hitting the right formula.

I just finished watching the finale online. Good Job Jason on taking the Series to the end(door tops help to keep the skeeters out!).
At first I rooted for Rover 1 but when it broke I switched to Team Meth, they really struggled and I felt, like Team Mullet, they were real and underdogs. Sad to not see them at the end, poor taste on the part of the producers, and none of the other teams even asked about them..WTF?
Did you actually get to the Artic Ocean, they let you thru the gate? Did anyone take the tour to even see it?

Inquiring minds and all that crap......

Agree the ending was a bit anti climactic and seemed rushed as if the show ran out of time. I felt for quite a while (like most I assume) that super jeep would win the race as they did appear the most prepped and prepared to complete the race in one piece. Although secretly I was hoping that the brother and sister couple with their slow and steady wins the race tactic may pay off.

I originally wanted to watch this to support Rover 1 and his Defender but became a bit tired of the yelling and what seemed like frequent in your face finger pointing confrontation. I know a lot of that might be editing and producers just showing the juicy parts for TV but I don't think it was very sportsman like or professional behavior from what was showed.

But in any event I probably would watch the show again. I would just hope that they improve the poor editing and frequent "recap" after each commercial so there was more actual air time of the event itself.

Son and i watched together. Liked it for sure, and get the premiss. I think the best part of the ending was watching war wagon get stuck leaving.

I agree. Also no mentioned the Series actually winning a drag race fair and square at the beginning of the leg.

Edited out us nailing the rock section and leaving everyone way behind in the pebbles. As well as having the fastest time overall for that trail. Glen, the cameraman, and I had probably the scariest seat of our pants ride of our lives through the fog on that very twisty, narrow trail. I held it in 3rd low and let the RPM's scream for bloody mercy for a very long time on that one. Got 4th a few times as well. Nursed a failing clutch from Fairbanks to the finish.

Coming down the backside of the pass heading North we achieved 74 MPH over a terrifying couple of miles, even passing a big rig who waved us by in total amazement.

On that rock course I'm guessing you took the smooth section of trail off to the left of screen that you see in a couple of shots...editing missed those ones.....lol..

Never!! I always take the hard line. Hit one rock so hard I was sure of a fuel tank rupture. The tank held strong and I motored on.

Would be great if the producers hired a technical consultant well-versed in off-roading and actually listened to them. There is a lot that could done to improve this show technically, maintain the requisite level of drama, and draw an even larger audience. Some of the most interesting and dramatic footage was where the heavy editing was absent (driving the ridge line in the fog at the end). Showed more "true" drama than the entire rest of the show.

They where there and ignored . The show happened so fast without much prep that they the producers focused on what they knew and ran with it . Drama !

Rumors are flying about a possible second season, who's going to be involved and on what level is up in the air.
