I don't think you could ever post too many pics of a nice looking truck here, regardless of background scenery.

Trip looks fantastic! Stay safe

The roof tent has been awesome...even though it's pretty spendy it'll pay for about 1/3rd of itself on the trip!! You can't even feel that it's there and there's no wind noise...I don't know how, but it's super quiet on the road...I'd definitely recommend one if you're I the market for a roof tent!! It comes with a mattress and pillows and has been incredibly comfortable...my shoulders always hurt at night and this has been almost as comfortable as our home mattress...very firm...

Hi Sonny,
Are you taking highway 16 and then 37 up north? In BC? I live In Terrace. So if you take that route you are welcome to grab a coffee before you leave civilization I will be gone this week but i am home next sunday for a view days.
Enjoy the nice BC scenery! And be careful don't hit a moose on your way up!

Yep, Moose are in The Rut right now, if you see a cow moose pay attention as they probably have a bull looking for some moose ass right behind them.

Thanks for the invite in the BC...We'll probably be home in Anchorage by Sat or Sun...

The bucks do get a bit wild this time of year...we've already been dodging turkey, pronghorn and deer so far!! The moose are definitely in a different class!! :-)

Here's a photo we took just before smoking our brakes on a 10% decline that went on forever (about 13 miles)!! That was a pretty slow and miserable mountain descent!! That's a lot of weight for these to handle!!! They don't seem any worse for the wear and we survived...can't ask for much more than that 😁

The coil wire fell off while going down the highway and the engine flamed out...took a bit to find the issue but was back on the road soon :-)

Brakes got a bit hot yesterday but that was mostly user error w this vehicle!!

Truck's running really well and staying cool, it's not even leaking oil...yet :-). My only concern is its a bit hard starting, so hopefully that wont be a problem. I'm so new to this one, it's going to take a little while to figure out all of its personal quirks and feels!!

Non leaking = time to top up the oil

That's what I've been thinking too!! I keep checking it, but for some strange reason it has oil in it, and not on the ground...very odd!!

That was Red Lodge, MT...really neat place!!

We're just across the border near Lethbridge, AB now, so we'll probably take about 6 more days...hopefully take it slow and enjoy the sights!!

Wow, you are moving fast. Too bad you can't wait around. There is a trials event near Edmonton on Saturday.
