Mission dictates configuration.

What are you looking to do with it?

235/85/16 or 265/75/16 are both about the same height and what most people use with a 2" lift

Another option is the 245/75/16 which will have a much better chance of fitting in the spare tire location. They also look good with a 2" lift. This size in the Goodyear MTR is the stock tire on the Jeep Rubicon so there are usually some take offs available on craigslist or a jeep board.

Thanks Guys. I Don't Care Much About The Spare Matching. I Think 265/75's Are My Choice. Same As What I Usually Put On My Discos With 2".

Follow-up Post:

Do Any Of You Have A Classic With 2" And 265's They Can Post Pictures Of??

I have run 235/85s on my '95 SWB with OME springs. You need to do a little trimming for 265s...just like on a Disco I.

I have 265/75s on my '92 with SG Stage III suspension and it works well...but I think it's closer to 3" of lift.

Here's a pic of the '92...so it would be close,

Here's mine with 235's, they're a little taller and narrower than the 265's.
