Advice for a Newcomer Looking for his First D90

So when I say newcomer, I mean I've been lurking on here for quite a while. I'm finally in a position where I can afford to chase my little dream and am looking for some advice or tips on how and where to focus my search for a D90.

I'm not to particular as far as the specifics, and am probably looking on the lower end of the price range, but here is generally what I'm looking for

NAS D90 ST
Manual
Mileage - Just not insanely high
Color - Any, but love the coniston green

Like I said, any advice would be much appreciated... so far I've just been periodically perusing autotrader and the classifieds here.

Thanks.

I'm sure the "Search the forum" reply will chime in soon enough...

From what I've learned so far, the main thing to look for are rust issues... learn everything you can about the history of the rig and if possible have someone experienced give it a look over if possible... There are quite a few things that can bite you in the wallet pretty quick!

Good luck finding your first D90!

Certainly guys like Doug could contribute import information, Horsey could provide a HSOC FRAGO for truck research instructions, Ron can drop his usual knowledge, I'll provide warnings about hacking gel tops, etc., etc.

Just picked up a beauty from Autotrader. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for... Higher mileage is not as important as how it has maintained and where it is coming from. Highly recommend a PPI inspection, and be prepared to spend some money when you get it, regardless of what it looks like. Good luck in your search.

Newbs don't read stickies. For that matter, I rarely read stickies that have forum rules.
