Advice about an RRC

Hello all. I would love some feedback as I want to find a fairway for pricing on a "not for sale" RRC. My sons pe coach has retired and it turns out she has a cherry RRC she has been driving for years. It has absolutely zero mods to it. It is not quite showroom quality but it is in awesome shape. I am not sure what year it is, but I know it is a classic. Anyway, rumor has it she would sell it, and I want to offer to buy it from her. Again without knowing what year and miles, is there a way to determine a fairway for pricing to offer her? I was thinking about $4K? What do you guys think?

It's kind of like asking the impossible... are you positive it's a Classic?
Sure it's not a '95 P38?

Get some pics...find out the year...easy enough to look in the door jam of a Classic and see the build date.

If it has been a TX car its whole life that will help---hopefully NO RUST!

Asking / selling price is relative to year / model / miles / documented history / etc. From $500 to $10,000. Give us more info.

I am certain it is a classic. I did it is the maroon color with the matching maroon "three spoke" rims. It certainly is a Dallas truck though. I will see if I can get some information on it, but I kind of wanted to have my mind around what I was thinking as I go knock on the door to see if she wants to sell. I saw two similar trucks in my area on autotrader. One had no HVAC and they wanted $4,4K OBO. The other was needing a few small odds and ins but apparently was pretty clean and was $7.7K. I will see what I can find out.

Honestly, this sounds better.

"Maroon" could be Trocadero Red Micatallic or Cassis Red Metallic.

Year and mileage will help now.
