Google the author for people's comments on him and his trucks.

I've heard mixed reviews, namely with regard to promised time-frames etc, but I've seen a couple of his trucks (the pastel pickup and the Carawagon on the website) and they looked very nice. Price was allegedly high, but the person I was speaking to at the time was a complete fucking asshole, so who knows.

Googling doesn't turn up a lot of info that I can find, but his little article looks like something that a baby-boomer would think is funny.

I have a local Series III that was wrecked and those guys are working to get the stuff needed to repair the truck good as new. I would like to know where the NOS Series stuff is coming from.

I'm a baby boomer and aside from not getting the relevance of your reference, I don't think it's funny.

Substitute Land Rover with Mustang, Charger, Diamond Reo, American LaFrance - anything old and the same rules apply, particularly the wife part. Yawn.
