Adventure Motor Cars Feedback?

Newer member to forum as I'm trying to find a worry-free automatic soft top '97 NAS 90 to buy. As I troll around, I keep falling on the Adventure Motor Cars website for looks at 90s and general information. What's the feedback from this group on the reliability of their work, general reputation, etc.? Please PM if you aren't comfortable posting to a broad audience.

Thanks,

Rob

I bought my '94 from him last year. Stephen is a good dude and does a great job restoring Defenders. As for "worry free", I'm not sure any Defender is, but I've had no big surprises...yet!
I'd certainly recommend him.

He's legit. My current 97 I bought from him in 2012. I've out 87,000 miles on it since then.

Steve is a good guy and I wouldn't worry about doing business with him.
Cheers

Bought my 94 D90 from him a few years back, very honest and straightforward transaction.

They were down at the 30A Sand Rover Rally this past weekend where they brought ~8 Defenders. All of which looked great.

Aside from buying a Rover, can anyone vouch for their work (paint jobs and cosmetic)? TIA.

Mine needed body work and new paint before Stephen got his hands on her. Straight lines now and I'm hard pressed to find flaws in the paint that weren't caused by me in 8 months.
