Agreed Value insurance

Has anyone had any luck finding an agreed value insurance policy for their defender (especially non-NAS since they can't find them in their systems) that doesn't have so many restrictions? I don't expect them to cover me flipping on a trail, but my current policy with Grundle won't even let me tow my boat a mile to the ramp or "haul" some trash to the dump.

Thanks

I hesitate to recommend actual cash value insurance since we don't know the actuarial depreciation tables. I have Auto Owners for my D90 and Boxster with declared replacement value of $60,000 on the 90.

How much did the rate change? Or did you start off with them with a declared value? Did you need to get it inspected/appraised by a Progressive agent?

Thanks for the links. I've seen a couple of those, but they tend to focus on mileage limits. It's not my daily driver, but it is a truck, and I'd like to insure it as one -- not as a "collector car" that will never see the light of day.

The rate hasn't changed, I've just been living with an agreed value policy that has all these use restrictions. I eventually want to get rid of my jeep (go back to a car for my daily driver) and use the LR for any towing or incidental SUV things I need to do, but I don't want to do so uninsured.

American Collectors had too many restrictions. Hagerty denied me because my FATHER has a point on his license (he owns the home where the truck is garaged). Most of the regular P&C carriers didn't offer agreed value. So I ended up with Grundy as a stop-gap.

Right now I'm living with liability only since putting the kids on my truck was the cheapest option for us. FWIW, I'm with Amica. Checked out Liberty Mutual last year they weren't interested in it at all. Called it a kit car....

I have my ROW and NAS through Safeco. They let me set the value, I had to supply pictures. I too had to look and speak to many Insurance companies to agree to what I was looking for...
