Accident Repair

Hi
I live in Jacksonville Florida. i have a 1986 tithonius 110. i have been involved in a collision today it was not not my fault. I have insurance but most companies do not know where to get parts let alone the value of such a car. Has anyone got any advice on what to do or who can fix my beloved landrover.

Thanks Jon

Safari HP will be the best source in Orlando

https://safarihp.com/

Then you have other forum members like

The Rover Shop in Ft Lauderdale

BOBCAT, Himalaya, and few more , but not exactly sure their locations and / or if they do repair work

I recently bought a Tithonus that had been rear ended- hard!! Mark at Himalaya has a couple Tithonus they are parting, so could be a good resource regardless who does the repairs...

Accident Repair

For insurance you'll need a specialist shop, someone who does restorations etc to write up the claim for the adjuster. You'd do yourself well to also build a list of all parts to supply the repair shop and the adjuster. When my 85 was damaged by a hauler whose trailer caught fire, this was the route I went to make sure I got exactly what they should pay.

If Safari can also do that for you your in the best hands then.

We've done 4 accident repairs to include frame swaps while working with the insurance companies (not always easy). We can assist along the way. Give me a call if you need anything.

i'm one of the 4 (rollover) and Safari put some time in with the local shop for sure. greatly appreciated. Completely, agree with Flananuts. I went to a highly regarded local shop that does resto work, but this was something that was an outlier for them. i came in with a pretty good list and have done my own frame swaps on series trucks and was able to get them over the 'fear/uncertainty of the unkown'....once they got going they worked with Steve and my insurance. very happy, never thought I'd get her back the way i had her (row 110).
