A good day to drive a rover

Expecting 13-18" of snow today (this would make the top 3 EVER for our area).

My daughter was talking to her friend about their super bowl party and I herd her say "we won't have any problems getting there, we drive a Land Rover" .

Somehow as far North as you are I would have thought it would take more than 18 to make that list.
I remember getting that much several times when I lived in the DC and Annapolis area's. We had one storm where the wet snow was taller than the 33's on the 130 and despite a locker I had to winch my way off the peninsula I lived out on the end of.

Knock knock
hey Doug whats up
Harry would you mind if I hook my winch line to your Japanese maple
Sure man thats fine we had all been hoping you would try to get out and cut trail for the rest of us

Me too. When I lived in Colorado I loved driving down the road before the plow or when there wasn't any other tracks through the snow.

Was out plowing (you find out how many people you have met when you have a plow truck in a snow storm) and spotted this beast.

Apparently the McHenry area plow drivers were not in as big of hurry

Didn't bother me I was having a blast in the 110

They are going three wide here to try to stay on top of it. Not wiring as they have closed the roads to non emergency vehicles.
