a 130 with a 110 3 door tub

I really want to build a 130 some day, but I really don't like the tub that is typically on the 130's

I have seen some pictures where they have put a 110 3 door tub on a 130 chassis...

Just wandering if this is a drop on fit? or is there some major custom fab work? If so... what?

thanks! Here is a picture that I found of one.

Don't know. I think these look better. I love the 130 station wagons they build in the UK.

It could either be a dutch one and factory or a custom job. it is not drop in as I understand it, but it could not be too terrible.

I am building one, kinda. I think the dutch ones are longer than 127 WB but you can cut the tub down easily. That is what I am doing (122-124 WB).

Edit: I think the angled rear doors look goofy on these. So I am doing early (repro) 127 square doors. It actually makes it an easier swap.

what exactly do you need to do? Do you have "relocate" the wheel wells? Or is it as simples as the bolt locations don't match up?

I have never done it, but I am going to say that the 110 regular tub needs to be shortened.
