95 Black D90 question

In a 95 Black D90 wasn't there some special thing were they came with leather seats?
Anyone have a picture of the stock seats? Was the rear forward facing bend leather as well??

Did all the Black 95 STs have this leather or was it an option?

Some recently rebuilt Arles Blue '97 D90 300 Tdi porn for your trouble of answering my question.

I thought it was in '94 that a limited number of black 90s came with leather. I have seen it once. The leather over time was beyond worn to shit.

I'm sure it was the 1994 limited production black 90's and i'm sure there was a thread here.

i do recall seeing one up close and it had a forward facing leather seat.

Thanks guys, I thought that was the case, but you guys have all the details.

Site updates are coming... We are in the middle of building a 130 4 door Beach Runner with 10" more in each seating area (its a 130, but still a 4 door) and it is taking up my time.

1994 toward the end of the year, they produced 100 black trucks with leather. I posted about them before if you search, but most I have seen (less than a dozen) also had chrome A-bar and side steps and the full cage.

1995 black was a standard color.

This 95 I saw had black leather and chrome side steps, so it threw me off.
I think it just has had the seats redone though and was otherwise a stock Black 95 D90ST.

Yes, the rear bench seat in the 100 black "specialish edition" 94's came in leather as well. I know of some but I cannot reveal my source for fear of being cut off.

Follow-up Post:

What's up with the E30 3-series? Is it an escape pod for the BR130?

Do you mean the 5 series behind the Blue 90 Tdi?
It belongs to one of the guys who works here (Will), he is fixing it up. Its an older Euro spec 5 series with some hot BMW motor stuffed in it. I don't know much about BMWs, but I do know it did a lot of donuts in the parking lot one day!!

I really need to move to Maine and beg for a job. The only donuts I do in the lot are dunkin. Speaking of places that would be awesome to work, last week I went to the Mercedes Classic Center in Irvine CA. It is the America arm of Mercedes that does restorations. The place was awesome. I went into the shop area. I have never seen a cleaner more state of the art shop. It was full of gullwings and there was some guy sanding in some insane booth where dust was being sucked into some vacuum device.

Ah to dream of being out of my cube

If you look close you can see the R6 motorcycle doughnut too.

Yes, spring fever has hit the guys in the shop a little.

They also came standard with the hardtop, AC, rear lamp guards, etc -- effectively all the POE options.

Well, I don't know how those 95s got black leather, but the two I know of have the normal vinyl interior.

The 30k "95 black I had a while back had vinyl as well. 100 '94 blacks were leather w/ polished SS accessories/kit.
Mike- sent an email re:flares and your D-II also. I need a donar D-II for lots of body parts- got an old G4 back that has been rolled. Thanks.
