I was on this Monday or Tuesday fighting ignorance to no avail!
It's amazing how fired up folks get about what a Defender should cost.

I thought it looked nice, though would have liked to see more of the motor and set up.

does it belong to anyone here?

whoever it belongs to now, it was at Romp in 2010 and I think the owner was on the old snhlr board when it was still a thing.

The guys name was John, I wheeled with him and this rig in Vermont many years ago. I remember it being nicely built, originally by a shop in Colorado I believe.

The crawl ratio/torque was impressive... 1st gear, let the clutch out, it would just creep over everything.

Custom suspension as well. (different link geometry)

And it is Portsmouth NH, if someone needs a hand taking a look at it, let me know.

Hi guys and yes, that's my truck. Sad day for me, but it is sold now ( it actually sold before hitting BAT ).

Unfortunately it was sitting in the garage more than on the trail and it was time to make a decision. Happily, its found a new home and I'm confident the new owner is going to enjoy it.

PS - thanks for the photo from the 2010 Winter Romp and the note about Vermont - fond memories !! Here are some photos from FYAO in Vt in Feb 2008. They are some of my fav pics -

Sad to see you and the 90 part ways - hopefully we will see you in a Land Rover again in the future.

My best!
