Good looking Arles. Do you still run the Fiberglass top I saw in your registry pic?
I was so excited when my 90 first arrived I drove it for a week without a top in the comfy Denver, CO January weather. I soon came to my senses.

I think Jerry copied me...
Good call - Jerry is missing a light.
On his Arles 94, he doesn't have the full cage and has a fast back top (and I believe fast back tops didn't come out untill 95 w/ the belt rail set up).
He also is towing a 13' whaler

Thanks Matt. When I took my now wife out for a 2nd date, I picked her up for dinner w/ the top off and handed her a winter hat (it started snowing.....)

Yes - I have had the Fiberglass Top since 2002 and picked it up from an old board member from the Yahoo D90 group. I like the top, used it last winter and use it most winters. The install represents 3 to 4 spare hours that I don't have right now....

Love it! Nice looking boat. Is there a show us your whaler/defender thread? Good combo.

I just finished restoring a 63 Nauset.

John - Beautiful Nauset. Nice Work. Is that the original Gelcoat or did you Awlgrip it? We have to compare notes. I restored the 1989 Montauk, but now have my hands full with this 1969 hull (first 4 pics). I picked up a super sport interior and the last pic is what it should look like when completed.

Re: the whaler/defender thread - good idea.
Here is a pic I found on Whaler Central.
This is interesting not only because of the ROW 90, but because it was taken in St. Tropez, France where a Rockland Mass built classic Whaler is far from home

wow cool. happy to compare notes. unfortunately not original gel coat. It had been painted at some point so stripped the hull inside and out. Console was a mess so i found one that was solid but had been painted blue (ugh!) and stripped that down. That was hell and not something i would every do again!

My contribution to the thread. The Montauk is not nearly as pretty as your Nauset and Super Sport, but kinder to my kidneys.

Okay Ruf, here is the pic of Tennesee Jed's Montauk as requested.

Also, we need to dig a hole behind your barn (right in front of that asshole neighbor) and stick that Super Sport in there, fill it with water this summer as a "ghetto pool" for the children because you're never gonna get around to restoring it, jus sayin.

Finally got the old girls together. Looking forward to seeing how the LS motor pulls this rig down the road.

I have a montauk and the truck doesnt even know its back there. I'm sure with the LS you will forget you are towing.
