.303 British Ammo

Hey does anyone know of a good website to get some .303 British for my Enfields?
Every shop here in the OKC area is sold out and the last time I was on Long Island it was like $35/20 rounds.

You should see a sload of it at local gun shows.
They are commonly seen in the Scope in Norfolk, VA.
Am sure there are compatible shows in your area.

If it matters to you CTD was the worst company for price gouging after O'Bummer got elected. Within hours they were selling $300's worth of ammo for over $1k. I myself would never, ever spend a dime with them.

Check out some of the good guys:
Ammoman
SG Ammo
UN Ammo
Weidners
Brownells
Midway USA
J&G

Or checkout http://www.slickguns.com for deals that people have posted up.

I did not know that. Are the prices similar at these other places? I mainly look for .30-30 and 9mm from them.

They are generally about the same. Shipping or sales tax is usually the make or break part of the deal. 9 of 10 times I buy from SG Ammo out of Stillwater OK.

Friends don't let friends buy from CTD!

SGammo is awesome. They don't gouge and they have a back-in-stock reminder email that works well. I've been able to buy 1000-round boxes of .308 and 5.56 using it. They are honest about their shipping times, too.

I used to think price gouging was horrible, until I watched this:

I honestly now think that raising the prices might allow someone that REALLY wants a product actually be able to find it. For example, I cannot find .22LR ammo. When I have found it at walmart it's pretty much the same price it was before it became scarce. If they were to double their prices, it might keep someone that already has a few thousand rounds stored up from buying more at the ridiculous price, and if they buy less, I might be able to find some sometimes. It might even let the price go back down because demand will dry up a little at the higher prices and maybe supply will be able to keep up.

Totally agree. I will not buy from them again.

I also second Ammoman and UN Ammo. I have used both quite a few times.

ammo?

Hi chaps whats the score with ammo?
I have a few work mates that shoot,1 has a few smle's but they are all moaning about the shortage of ammo, no problems getting 7.62 normally 50's russian
but very little available from the states and the dealers say that much of the european ammo is being bought up and shipped west.

so what gives?

regards all

I have never seen this until just now. Is there a way to refine that search? For example, I burned through all of my 9mm ammo over Thanksgiving. I am looking for 124 grain FMJ for punching paper. The link you posted was pretty basic, or is that all there is to it?

Don't believe you can refine it further than that view; when you go to 9mm there is a ton to wade through but much of it is labeled enough to know what is 124gr and such; the value there is to be able to see price/round and quickly hone in on a few options.

Useful when you're hunting for 77gr Black Hills (the MK262 stuff) b/c you got addicted to it when you weren't paying for it...

If you shoot a lot of a single pistol caliber look into a Dillon Square Deal press. The math may work in your favor. We do a lot of shooting here and I would need a 2nd job if I paid retail for 9mm & 45.
I have also in the past bought a pallet of ammo and split the cost with a few buddies.
