300 Tdi needed for stuck overland German 110

I just got this email and figured I would share it to see if anyone can assist these folks. We don't have any 300 Tdis available.
Here is the email:

"Der all,

We are overlanders from Germany, currently travelling in the US with our Defender 110, beeing temporily Imported from Germany. We are looking for a replacement for our 300 tdi Engine, as it overheated and cannot be repaired.

Can You offer a used/new Engine? We are stranded in Salt lake City.

Kind Regards,

Eva Sturm"

Unfortunately Bill doesn't. It is at his shop now. From the sounds of it, it cooked. I tried our board to see if anything is for sale but no luck. Anyone have one squirreled away?

Try Ed Angel at Steadfast Offroad in Eagle River near Anchorage, Alaska. I met him on our world tour in DOOZIE last June. He has LOTS of parts for Defenders. 907 350 0122
