255/85 vs 285/75

I know this topic has been beaten to death and an argument can be had for both. There were some good discussion in threads like this.
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...eferrerid=5736

However, from a purely visual perspective, I would like to see some pictures. I am deciding to do either 255/85 R16 or 285/75 R 16s on my 90 which has an OME HD/MD lift. Can anyone help with pics of the following?

1. Side shot and front shot of a D90 with an OME setup and 255/85s
2. Side shot and front shot of a D90 with an OME setup and 285/75s.

I am prob going to go the km2 m/t route, so any of the pics with km2s is much appreciated.

Thanks guys.

I had 285/75/16 bfg m/t (first gen) on my d90 w/ an OME lift...

285/75 - little bit shorter than a 255/85 but fatter
255/85 -- tall & skinny

I personally think the 255/85's look better on it... these trucks look nicer with the skinnier tires..

Here's a couple pics of mine... the front wheels had 1" spacers on them too.

the pic w/ my disco in the pic was pre-lift.

Not sure actually.. never saw another one like it... it was snaps, had a zippered sunroof in it... and the whole back part unzippered too so you could run a bikini. It definitely was a neat top...

That truck was never the same after those pics were taken.

285/75 KM2 with OME HDs

I put wheel spacers to keep them from rubbing the front radius arms.
I do get a slight rub on the rears on the fenders when heavily articulated.

Abeer - does the steering skid plate look familiar?

I like that. Besides the fastback, this is basically identical to what my truck would look like with 285s.

Why yes, I do recognize that skid. Your truck is looking great.

Thanks for the 285 pics guys. Now where are the D90's with 255/85's?
