Pretty good radios. I have a bunch in the series and the other Baofengs and they all work great.

Great little hand helds. Prefer them to vehicle mounted CB to be honest.

I run two of the 8watt ones in my WMIK. I just hooked them up to the magnetic antennas you can buy for them $20 each and they sit on top my tum boxes. Plenty of range.

Since these are unabashedly one of my favorite pieces of gear I would suggest at some point for those that grab them consider getting the better antenna and the larger battery (which also makes them a little easier to hold). These two on the seat worked for pretty much 4 days all the time (plus the drive up and back) and I can't honestly remember charging them.
