You have to wonder if he signed a NDA. Or was this a planned event.

Rear end looks like a full diaper.
Bet there is one seriously angry LRNA exec today!

Those are designed in on purpose. You wouldnt want to be able to see the poor people in their plebeian vehicles, now would you?

Its kind of lost its 'sport' look when compared to the old one.

Eric, can you see if they'll take a pic of the interior? Not that there's any chance the Rangie is still at that shop, but I want to see.

The guy in the photo is probably not in any trouble. The guy who took the photo, probably not in trouble. The guy who sent the photos to others, definitely in trouble

"And on Wednesday, Facebook community page VMax 200 provided another sneak peek by publishing a shot of the new Range Rover Sport in an auto shop. The page has since been removed."

I hear the shop was less than five miles from Mah Wah and is indeed gone. I will see if I can dig up a picture before the 26th. If not I will take some when I am there.

this shot was floating around a few months ago and has the new F-type shifter in it.

That sport is gross. I saw a full sized today while out, cannot get excited about it at all. Way too Japanese looking and that sport rear end is awful. I would have to think the prior year body styles are holding some extra value.

I know...I've been secretly pining for one of these. In the next 5 years or so one of my trucks may get replaced with one of these, complete with faux wood paneling sides.

Back home our next door neighbor decided he wanted one...this was 1990... So he ordered one in RHD and had it shipped. Had the 360 v8 was the gold color and even had this freaky little plaque on the dash saying"Custom made for..."

I fell in love with them then. Like you Lav I keep an eye out. One on eBay in 2012 in CA all original with only 80k on clock sold for $18K. Too steep for me but still you can get them for around $10-15K

I grew up with the old man driving Wagoneers and Cherokees. Actually remember helping him put a Rough Country lift kit on the 2 door Cherokee Chief he had when I was 12 or so.

And I had a 4 door Cherokee in college. Pulled out a kids Toyota that was totally stuck in the mud and with the 360 with a 4 speed gearbox that had a crawler gear for first it pulled it out like it was nothing. Cool truck but that 360 sucked too much fuel and I always had to drive like 10 drunk buddies home as it was so big compare to the VWs and Saabs everyone had.

Wouldn't mind having another one but sounds like they aren't cheap and they are thirsty bastards. Cool and timeless look to them tho.

Grand Wagoneers are cool but, being tall, I find them to be pretty uncomfortable inside. Also, a 6" lift is pretty much required to run 33's. Without cutting, bigger tires are impossible. They are fast disappearing due to rust.

Between 1988 and 1995 that was all I drove...went through 3 of 'em...I would get sick of the MPG and sell one, then miss how good they rode and get another one.....
