This isn't inspiring confidence in the direction they are going in the future.

Let's make all of our models look the same.

Was listening to a thing on the radio a few weeks back about how all the new pedestrian friendly laws are forcing manufacturers to make all thier cars look very similar. The days of thinking outside the box are long over. Guess sloping front low suspension "trucks" are the way of the future. UGH

I was looking at those the other day. In one of the shots you can even see the indentation of the front lights going around the sides of the vehicle like in the rendering. The rear looks like it may be kinda cool, but the front is a little too Japanese in design.

Google again. There's a picture up of a car sitting in the factory, fully built with just the transport plastic on it. That is the real deal. Will be in showrooms as a 13MY in January/February. Official pictures should be out any day and the big release is scheduled for London next month.

Lots of Ford designs, interior and exterior, came from Land Rover during the brief years they were "involved" You can see it in the console design of the fords and then the "new" exploders that came out a couple years back. (they look like the LR Sport to me)
looks like Land rover is molding their new cars to look like the fords now, sadly.

official photos will be released tomorrow by LR global, so should probably wait until then to puke. no doubt the new RR will have a more sloped front etc. It has to become more fuel efficient to meet new CAFE standards. and pedestrian friendly etc etc

Maybe it shares the same frame as a Taurus as well.

US LR website posted official photos today. Outside of the exploder head/tail lamps and those ricer body kit looking rocker panels and door gills, they could've done worse! I think overall stance is still RR.
