How does one physically import a car like this legally, even for off road use?

I think I could import one and drive it legally on US roads for 12 months. At the end of the 12 months I would need to export it/destroy it though (and I believe I would need to provide proof of either to the US authorities).

My understanding is that importing for off-road use is decently "easy" if the plan is not to make it road legal. Since I don't have an estate where that would be convenient, I ever looked into that!

What I find interesting is that the seller says he can get a clear title. That seems the hard part. Anyway, at the end of the day, the only interested buyer in the US would part that truck to rebuild an older one. The price is pretty high to start with though.... [And of course, since it would not be EPA compliant, if someone were to not like you, this would likely get seized/crush/etc.; passing all the comments/fears about accident/insurance/etc.]
