2009 RRS supercharged

By gotchas I need to think about, going to check one out for my wife tomorrow.

I'm pretty up on the lr3 platform so will check the usual stuff (compressors and all that)

It's pretty low miles as well 75k

It'll be a mall cruiser so no upgrades planned

I would look to see if the active sway bars are leaking and also if the bushings are squeaky. Other than that, they are pretty similar to the LR3.

Clunk in suspension (front)
Seems to have a bent front wheel
Low coolant warning
Tire pressure indicator light...
Interior was nice (not clean though)
Exterior was good

Still looking....
Jag engine RR or sport maybe an LR4 in the 20's
It'll be a mom cruiser, no mods planned

As I was told before I bought my 2006 HSE...plan 3k a year for (random) repairs...I have found that to be true.

Honestly, I'd really look at a Lexus GX. My wife loves ours but I love it even more. Reminds me a lot of how a Discovery drives only more comfortable, quicker, no rattles, super quiet, and extremely reliable and cheap to maintain.

We have an 07.

The Gx is on the list.. How is dealer maintenance for it?
She loves LR, but I'm a realist and end up doing most of it bc I won't pay $350 for an oil change

Good. I've honestly had toyota do it since I've had it since lexus dealer is 3 hours away. It's even cheaper. Engine is same as Tundra of that vintage. Brakes, etc are all toyota parts.

Or $650.00 for a liquid cooled BMW alternator...
