2009 Range Rover

Anyone have any experience with these? I have a friend looking at a 2009. It's really nice with 13,000 miles but being a 2009 it is no longer under warranty. Is this a huge mistake?

Thanks

It's a good decision, but get a pre-purchase inspection.

Private party or dealership? If a dealership you may be able to get an aftermarket warranty, just read the fine print on whats covered and whats not. Some of the aftermarket warranties aren't worth the paper they are printed on..

Nope doesn't help. Losing interest in asking. This isn't for me. I on he other hand have rage as my Lr4 needs trailing arm bushings and if I had paid attention I could have done it under warranty before it expired.

I have an 03 and 11, love them both. Have done nothing but basic preventive maintenance on the 03 and havent been let down. My 03 hasnt been at the dealer for 5 years and I have 105k on the clock. I plan on keeping it forever.

Probably not needed IMO. As long as the owner can afford an expensive repair should it ever need one. A lot of warranties are a waste of money.
