1997 d-90 from italy

I know this has beatin to death. I ve been reading here and there and seems that a 1997 d-90 can be imported only by licensed imported. Is this correct?

Is it even worth to import one I will be going to italy this summer? At a glance it seems they only have diesel D-90 in Italy. Will a diesel be considered a a NAS D-90?

Sorry for all these questions?

I ve been searching a little here and there.

start there. you'd probably be best off asking any further questions left unanswered by that thread, in that thread. that's what it's there for.

In short, you will be much better off money, time, and hassle-wise finding a '97 here in the states. And welcome to the board!

You can either read all you need to know here:

http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/

http://www.epa.gov/otaq/imports/index.htm

Or trust me when I say "dont bother."

Oh, and the exchange rate is not on your side either...
