1995 ST for Sale

This one (not mine) was last offered by Highline Wholesale in Ohio and now a dealership in NJ has it for sale for 8k more. Strange rust is places. Did they just take a grinder to the rear bumper to highlight the rust, take off the front grille guard, and raise the price? SALDV2280SA963133

Previous listing:

http://www.rovers4sale.com/detail.as...ID=12136&.aspx

At $30,870

New listing:

http://www.shoplucaschevy.com/1995_L..._194567832.veh

I emailed them and they want $37,995.

Doesn't appear to be moving. I was going to take a look over Thanksgiving when I was in Jersey, but its out of my price range.

definitely not a $38k 90... first off, it has 92k miles.. second, rear cross member has visible rust, but even more concerning is when you start looking inside the vehicle, there is rust on almost every piece of steel on the seats, etc. makes you wonder what the condition of everything that is hidden is.

Although not a 38K D90 it's not that bad, little surface rust. Here's one from the same original dealer in oHIo. http://www.rovers4sale.com/detail.as...ID=12136&.aspx

Aside from price, it meets my main criteria: Green, 95 ST, w/ rear jump seats. With enough self-justification (or delusion), I just might be able to get over the "strange" rust.

You've seen nicer examples. Don't pick a particular defender just because it has had jump seats installed, especially if your compromising rust in the process. Find a very nice 95 ST with a bench or no bench (no bench should be cheaper) and buy 4 jump seats and belts.

Wasn't this a members' truck from MA that was selling it for like $19K awhile back?
