I should have purchased this truck when Mike offered it to me.

What engine is currently in it?

This ad has done exactly what was intended, his inbox is probably full of offers.

Ah yes Matt, but are those offers worthy of consideration? I made an offer and will let you know if it was "worthy of consideration". Cant gauge wether the offer will be close to what he considers worthy as there is no asking price, per forum rules.

Well I offered some mail order brides from the homeland. The dollar goes pretty far over there right now.

Will keep you posted.

I offered $1 more than he paid just a few months ago since that's what it was worth to him.

Moving to miscellaneous chit chat. I sent Rick an e-mail yesterday to update the thread, he's logged on since and ignored the messages here as well. Rick feel free to repost your vehicle for sale with a proper ad including important stuff such as A PRICE, mileage, etc.

Color reminds me of an early 90's ford pick up truck color call Brilliant Blue. I wish I could begin to explain why I remember this.

I sent him an offer for $5,000.....why not:-) I just wanted to send an email and join in the fun, and it kind of felt like buying a lottery ticket.

From the referenced photos, there was plenty of cancer on that truck when ECR did the bulk of the work / restore / repaint in 2006. Don't know, but it could have been a >100k mileage rig that enjoyed living in the nation's rust belt at that time. While it looks nice from that glamor shot and description (most do), how can one price this from the cheap seats? A lot can happen over 9 years. It could be a another high mileage crusty jalopy or a diaper wiped garage queen, or anything in between.
Impressive build, but not much original anymore. Note the SG front link suspension, overdrive, ARBs, etc..

Since this is now in the Chit Chat section…. if this had not been worked on by ECR, what makes the Hella Edition so special other than the paint & the extra Hella lights (which this one no longer has)?
