19 December West Point Get-Together, Work Party

Hey Everyone - I'm planning on spending the week before Christmas working on the 110 pretty much full-time. I'm inviting anyone who is interested to come by between 10:00am and 6:00pm on Saturday the 19th to hang out, drink beer, and help with the 110 if inclined.

Since the 110 has outgrown the garage, I'll be moving it back to the Auto Craft Shop at West Point. There's lots of space to hang out, and if there is enough interest, I can get more than one bay so that other people could do oil changes, install parts, or whatever.

Go ahead and post here if you want to come - it will help me figure out how much food to get etc. I want to spend my day wrenching, so if you want to volunteer to run the grill or something, so much the better.

Oh yes, much. On both counts. First draft was too graphic.

Jim if your getting more than one bay id love that im about 700miles away from an oil change so that will work great.

Looks like Jason and I will carpool up that day...actually really looking forward to it. Did I see somewhere that you're bringing it back to get something painted, by the way?

I just took it out of the garage to get the last bits painted, along with some touch up on stuff that the body shop either needed to fix, or stuff I scratched on accident. I should be getting it back from paint a couple days before the shindig.

Thats a lot of stuff to get "Jim good" in one day, "Ron good" no problem. Roof and cage alone take plenty of time to get aligned and bolted up loosly.

That doesn't have to all happen in one day. Hopefully some of it will already be done by the 19th.
